Established in 1993, The Choux Box holds a special place in the heart of Kingscliff. As a family-owned and operated establishment, we take pride in curating a warm and inviting space that resonates with both locals and visitors.

Owner Brett Freeburn was brought up around dining culture which led him to his years of experience as a chef. After many years in the kitchen Brett transitioned to front of house, leaving his mark on every aspect of the Choux Box.

Brett’s daughter Cenza, has been a member of The Choux Box family since the age of 14, she started from the ground up and has been a core part of the business for 20 years.

Beyond being a cafe, The Choux Box is a way of life for us. It's more than a business; it's a place where memories take shape, and connections evolve into family. Many locals consider it home, and we extend a warm invitation for you to do the same.

We have just opened our sister takeaway cafe, Choux String, located a short walk away on Marine Parade.
